Role specific accountabilities:
To deliver high-quality maintenance services at all MCFC sites to the highest standard, in line with MCFC policies, legislative, environmental, and certifying authorities’ compliance and best practice.
To be responsible for ensuring all Health and Safety requirements for each task is in line with H&S legislation, best practice and MCFC H&S policy.
To be responsible for allocated maintenance tasks from start to completion including scoping the task, pricing, and ordering materials, liaising with the customer, undertaking the work personally or coordinating and supervising others to ensure its timely completion.
To monitor the results of the facilities maintenance service and suggest and deliver improvements.
To work with the Maintenance Managers on Planned Preventive Maintenance and life cycle schedules for all buildings and ensure all tasks are undertaken inspected and schedules are reviewed and improved.
To assist the Maintenance Managers in operating the help desk, allocating, monitoring, inspecting reactive jobs from it, ensuring they are completed in line with targets set and reviewing/analyzing these jobs to identify trends and make improvements.
To assist the Maintenance Managers in working with the facility and building management systems, keeping them fully operational and up to date, training others where necessary.
To manage individual projects, working where required with sub-contractors.
To manage all site resources, especially finance and IT, in an efficient and effective manner in line with MCFC strategic plans for the use of the site.
Role specific knowledge, skills and experience:
Essential:
Experience working in a skilled electrician or systems engineer role
Recognised electrical apprenticeship qualification with relevant industry experience & background
Knowledge of Health and Safety legislation and processes
Full,clean driving license
Desirable:
Knowledge of BMS. (Building management systems).
Knowledge of Dali / KNX or similar lighting systems
Certified in , IPAF, PASMA, Electrical Test and Inspection or similar
