The Senior Manager, Total Rewards is responsible for designing, planning, and implementing benefits, wellness, and compensation programs, policies, and procedures. The Senior Manager, Total Rewards will also contribute to the developing Total Reward strategies that will support the organization.
Responsibilities
Conduct various market pricing analyses to ensure employee pay and benefits are competitive aligned to the external market
Partner with the Talent Acquisition team when negotiating offers for open roles
Assist with overall project management of salary review processes across all Departments
Review and propose the most appropriate job measurement mechanisms to underpin the reward infrastructure
Manage the process of job evaluation and grading, including making day to day recommendations on evaluation and grading withing the MLS grading framework
Oversee the participation in salary surveys and monitor salary survey data to ensure compensation objectives are achieved
Oversee administration of Employee Benefits for both Players and the League Office staff
Manage Benefit vendor relationships with all external consultants, partners and Benefits broker
Further enhance Benefits programs such as PTO, Wellbeing, Woman’s Health and Working Family initiatives
Ensure the existing total rewards framework is communicated and understood by all stakeholders
Educate and advise business facing HR staff to in all aspects of reward strategy, reward principles, and implementation challenges
Look externally for best practices and establish channels, forums, processes to keep best informed of Compensation and Benefits practices and trends
Develop and continuously improve links between performance and reward, specifically bonus programs and pay
Design and implement new Total Rewards policies, and initiatives to support business objectives
Liaise with HCM Technical Specialist and IT team to maximize Workday Compensation and Benefit Module functionality
Assist in the development and creation of Workforce Analytics reporting with key HR stakeholders
Manage Total Rewards projects as required

Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree
7+ years of experience in both Compensation and Benefits functions
Experience supporting compensation and benefits for an organization
Experience with compensation analysis, market pricing and job evaluation methodologies
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to maintain highly confidential material
Superior organization, project management skills and attention to detail
High level of commitment to quality work product and organizational ethics, integrity, and compliance
Effective, demonstrated communication skills-both verbal and written
Proficient in all computer software including Word and Excel and experience with benefit enrollment sites
Demonstrated decision making and problem-solving skills
High sense of urgency with an ability to meet deadlines
Experience with HCM or Comp systems
