Major League Soccer is the top-flight men’s professional soccer league in the United States and Canada. In 2023, the league will be comprised of 29 clubs, with ongoing plans to expand to 30 clubs, will play the new and annual Leagues Cup tournament, and launched its worldwide streaming and marketing partnership with Apple.

Major League Soccer’s historic Apple partnership will allow fans to stream every MLS match through the Apple TV app worldwide. The new streaming service will also feature MLS NEXT, MLS NEXT Pro and Leagues Cup matches, alongside a rich offering of League, Tournament and Club content.

As part of this new partnership, MLS will be responsible for producing all live match and studio content for MLS Season Pass. As a Senior Manager, Content Operations, you will be responsible for helping to manage video on demand (VOD) elements of MLS Season Pass, working within the content operations group at MLS and with MLS clubs to ensure the delivery of video into MLS Season Pass.


  • Manage the content inventory and delivery process for MLS Season Pass VOD content

  • Ensure on-time delivery of league video to MLS Season Pass by coordinating with League staff

  • Partner with MLS club staff to ensure on-time delivery of club video to MLS Season Pass

  • Manage and troubleshoot issues with delivery of video via Apple’s Transporter system

  • Manage and troubleshoot issues with metadata in Apple’s Sequence system

  • Manage the Senior Coordinator, Content Operations role that reports into the position

  • Additional responsibilities as assigned.


  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • 7+ years of experience, with 3+ years of management experience

  • Demonstrated experience in creating project plans and managing communication across multiple groups

  • Demonstrated experience in creating and managing a content plan or content inventory

  • Experience using a video asset management system

  • Ability to write and edit descriptions in English

  • Ability to review and edit closed captions in English

  • Strong attention to detail and proven ability to meet deadlines

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a fast paced, team environment

  • High-level of commitment to a quality work product and organizational ethics, integrity and compliance

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing

  • Demonstrated decision making and problem-solving skills

  • Strong attention to detail with the proven ability to multi-task and meet deadlines with minimal supervision

  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

  • Ability to work non-traditional hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

  • Experience with Apple Transporter and Apple Sequence systems

  • Knowledge of the sport of soccer, Major League Soccer a plus

  • Bilingual preferred (English, Spanish and/or French)

Total Rewards

Starting Base Salary: $90,000 – $105,000. MLS/SUM base salaries are contingent upon several factors including individual qualifications, market financials, and operational business needs.
