The Sr. Coordinator will work closely with the Consumer Products team across licensing, retail development, on-field, and retail and League events. The candidate will manage the day-to-day Adobe system product submissions and approvals, build and maintain seasonal product decks, photoshoot sample integration, merchandise closet, and League event support. Sr. Coordinator will work closely with the On-Field team on weekly match compliance operations.
The Sr. Coordinator will support Consumer Products best practices, onboard licensees, and serve as a support for Clubs and Licensees to ensure MLS is set for growth heading to the 2026 World Cup.
Responsibilities
Review all product submissions to ensure licensees comply with club brand guidelines and branding protocols
Support the Licensing Manager to on-board new licensees and assist with annual Summit coordination
Assist clubs in ensuring their products are being reviewed and approved in a timely manner
Help develop and install new updates for approvals software
Assist other members of the Licensing department in product development
Sample management with licensees and internal partners
Working with our legal department for specimen collection and trademark protection
Reviewing and archiving appropriate sampling
Supporting Licensing team in new assortment development strategies
Support internal marketing and retail development strategies
Assist the On-Field Licensing team to process adidas product orders
Support Licensing Manager to develop and grow partnership with the goal of driving revenue increasing engagement across key fan segments (e.g., avid, casual, youth) and working across the organization to activate the league wide partnership deliverables.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree
Prior work experience, with at least three (3) years of experience in licensing or a related sector
Professional network within the licensing, sports, consumer products and retail

Ability to travel (10-20%) and to work non-traditional hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Desired Skills
Knowledge of the Spanish Language (business proficiency)
Knowledge of the sport of soccer
Total Rewards
Starting Base Salary $50,000 - $65,000. MLS/SUM base salaries are contingent upon several factors including individual qualifications, market financials, and operational business needs.
