The Senior Coordinator, Player Relations/Operations/Competition is responsible for supporting the roster tracking, research, analysis, and match-day prep for the Competition, Operations, and Players Relations departments.

League Scheduling and game change processes
Weekend Match Observation
Discipline repository and video management
Weekly Referee Assessment and KMI Compliance in Fairwhistle
Record/Notes keeping for On-Field Innovation Committee
Weekly Stats report collection & management
Assist with Match Observer program
Liaise with Clubs and internal stakeholders to coordinate various meetings, conference calls, and other periodic engagements.
Provide supportive material to various Competition Department personnel when required.
Player Relations
Assist with MLS NEXT Pro player administration (e.g. player registration, player database updates, maintenance of files)
Monitor domestic and international player registrations across MLS NEXT Pro and other domestic leagues
Serve as point of contact with various stakeholders (e.g., MLS Clubs) regarding MLS NEXT Pro roster rules and guidelines
Assist with match week and matchday roster submission and compliance processes
Analyze and report on large data sets related to MLS NEXT Pro (e.g., on- and off-field data)

Operations
Assist with tracking weekly club submittals
Assist with tracking weekly hotel and venue reports
Assist with match notices
Participate in club check-in pregame calls

Qualifications
Required Skills
Deep knowledge and interest in Major League Soccer, MLS NEXT, and MLS NEXT Pro, our teams, players and rules
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational skills
Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Product Suites and Adobe Creative Suite
Strong research and writing skills
Ability to multi-task and be flexible with work schedule
Ability to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment
Demonstrated decision making and problem-solving skills
Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
Desired Skills
Knowledge of FIFA rules and practice
Fluency in Spanish preferred (oral and preferred written)
Starting Base Salary: $58,500 – $65,000. MLS/SUM base salaries are contingent upon several factors including individual qualifications, market financials, and operational business needs.
