Major League Soccer is looking for an experienced professional to help build and scale our human resources applications & systems. As part of the Technology team, this position will provide technology management and expertise in collaboration with the League's HR Department. The selected candidate will collaborate with the VP, Technology Solutions and will act as the single point of contact for all technical needs supporting our HR solutions. This person will analyze processes & requirements and support the development of a comprehensive technology roadmap.
Responsibilities
Lead the strategy, selection, and implementations of HR products and services
Responsible for implementation, configuration, and support of HR applications & systems at Major League Soccer
Support the development and implementation of a comprehensive technology roadmap, applicable to our HR solutions & processes.
Collaborates across HR team and the Technology team to identify system improvements and enhancements, and recommend new solutions
Support the development of our HR management systems including management of employee data and reporting
Ensure HR solutions are fully integrated with our existing technology stack and are managed applying organizational process
Manage system integrations with both internal and external solutions providers
Develop and enhance digital workflows across the HR department while interacting with other business units throughout the league
Ensure information security concepts are being applied to the handling and managing of sensitive data
Provides technical expertise and support for the HR systems
Create and maintain all user documentation related to HR systems, processes, and workflows
Conducts training, including developing user procedures, guidelines, and documentation

Qualifications
A Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, HR Management, or similar
A minimum of five years of experience working in the capacity of HR administration
3 years-experience working with Workday products
Maintains technical and industry trend knowledge by participating in Workday Community and other forums, including on-line discussions, brainstorms, voting, training, webinars, etc.
Experience with Workday HCM application features and business process configuration
Good organizational and communication skills, written and oral, able to create and present well-organized presentations
Candidates should have experience leading projects via project management platforms and methodologies
Background in managing PII and Financial data
Ability to understand business needs and translate them to functional/technical requirements
Ability to work optimally in a fast paced, team environment
Demonstrated decision making, problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Thorough with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
Experience working with Asana or similar Project Management tools
Knowledge of the sport of soccer
Total Rewards
Starting Base Salary: $110,000 – $125,000. MLS/SUM base salaries are contingent upon several factors including individual qualifications, market financials, and operational business needs.
