The Retail Attendant for the Jackie Robinson Training Complex (JRTC) is responsible for selling JRTC merchandise at various events held at the complex.


  • Sell JRTC merchandise at JRTC tournaments, Spring Training games, MLB events, third-party tournaments and events, and additional special events as needed.

  • Set up merchandise table, point of sale equipment, display items, and bins of inventory when scheduled.

  • Meticulously record sales during shifts to keep track of inventory sold.

  • Take inventory of items at the beginning and end of each shift.

  • Balance daily financial transactions upon completion of shift.

  • Welcome guests and ensure customer satisfaction through superior customer service.

  • Answer questions about facility amenities, services, points of interest, and current/upcoming JRTC events.

  • Handle and resolve any potential issues with merchandise.

  • Report any accidents or injuries to management staff immediately.

  • Other duties as assigned by Marketing Coordinator.


  • Excellent verbal communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.

  • Previous cash handling experience.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • High level of attention to detail.

  • Self-motivated and highly organized.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with guests, coworkers and managers.

  • Physical stamina and mobility including ability to lift, reach, kneel and bend.

  • Ability to lift, push and pull at least 50 lbs. on a regular basis.

  • Ability to work irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.

This is an hourly, part-time position.
