The Manager, Club Social Sponsorship is a member of the Club Marketing team, and is primarily responsible for working with Clubs and MLB stakeholders around facilitating fulfillment of partnership activations on Club social media channels. This role requires the flexibility to be able to work nights and weekends throughout the year, and to be available for occasional travel.
Education and Experience
4-year degree from an accredited university in marketing, digital marketing, communications, or related field and 4+ years experience in partnership or digital marketing or related functional area; OR equivalent relevant experience
Strong track record in developing and executing branded content, and delivering partnership assets that align with corporate and partner strategies
Demonstrated understanding of social media trends and strategies to drive business results
High standards of organization, with the ability to handle multiple tasks at once in a fast-paced environment
Strong business communication skills
Data analytics and reporting background preferable
Experience in sports industry preferred
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Partner with Club Marketing team to facilitate social media partnership activation with Major League Baseball’s 30 Clubs
Build and maintain relationships with Marketing & Social Media leads at our 30 Major League Baseball Clubs
Collaborate with Global Partnerships and Social Campaign Management teams to strategize branded content efforts across core social media platforms (i.e. Twitter, Facebook, Instagram)
Identify and organize branded social campaign deliverables for 30 MLB Clubs
Coordinate with internal departments (MLB Digital, MLB Social Media, Global Events, Broadcast and MLB Network, MLB Sponsorship, Product, Partnership Marketing, etc.) to ensure activations are aligned with overall strategy
Stay current with all facets of the dynamic marketing mix, including digital, social media, experiential, and broadcast
Monitor industry trends for brand partnership activation and creative concepts for adoption
Run and provide insights from branded analytics reports, and educate internal departments and external partners on brand and league capabilities and best practices

Per the NYC pay transparency law, the hiring range for this position is $75,000 to $110,000. As a candidate for this position, your salary and related elements of compensation will be contingent upon your work experience, education, skills and any other factors Major League Baseball (MLB) considers relevant to the hiring decision.
