Responsibilities:
Execute on a results-driven social media strategy.
Develop and support curating engaging content for social media platforms.
Assist in the creation and editing of written, video, and photo content through social insight feedback.
Maintain unified brand voice across different social media channels.
Collaborate with internal teams to create and maintain a social media calendar.
Monitor and research social media channels for industry and non-industry trends/best in class brands.
Review analytics and create topical reports on key metrics/events/trends/news/@MLBLife.
Assist in the development and management of social media marketing and influencer marketing strategy.
Qualifications / Skills:
Passion for baseball and growing the sport, with a strong proficiency in major social media platforms and social media management tools.
Excellent social listening and Boolean search query writing skills (crisis management/brand tracking experience a plus).
Ability to understand historical, current, and future trends across the digital content and social media space.
Strong copywriting and copy editing skills.
Top-notch presentation and verbal communication skills.
Impeccable time management skills with the ability to multitask in a faced paced environment.
Detail-oriented approach with ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
Bi-lingual (Spanish) is a plus
Education and Experience Requirements:
Degree in marketing/statistics or relevant work experience.
2-3 years experience with B2C social media marketing or content development.
Direct experience using social media management tools (Sprinklr experience necessary).
Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook) and G-Suite (Docs/Slides/Sheets).
Per the NYC pay transparency law, the hiring range for this position is an hourly rate of $27.00 to $31.00 The actual offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your work experience, education, skills and any other factors Major League Baseball (MLB) considers relevant to the hiring decision.
