The Work:

  • Develop backend services and architecture supporting the #1 app in sports in the App Store. Some of these services include contextual HomeTab which customizes the app experience based on who, what, when, and where the fan is.

  • Contribute to internal tooling used by all 30 clubs. Some of this tooling includes providing clubs with the ability to customize the Ballpark app experience.

  • Work closely with the product management team to design new features integrated into the platform.

  • Own portions of the backend architecture. You will be given the resources, support, and autonomy to drive solutions.

  • Work closely with the Ballpark mobile teams to create technical solutions that work across both platforms.

  • Work directly with our partners, who are industry leaders in cloud and mobile software.

Who you are:

  • Golang of course!

  • 3+ years of software development.

  • Experience writing and supporting micro services.

  • Cloud infrastructure experience.

  • API design experience.

Nice to have:

  • Google Cloud Platform (GCP), specifically Kubernetes.

  • Experience with observability including using cloud native technologies and DataDog.

  • Front-end experience using VueJS.

This role has an annual starting salary of $160,000 and may be higher depending on experience.
