The Rams are looking for a Head of Video to oversee a team in the development and production of all Rams video content as part of our Rams Studio team. From our football content series with players and coaches to lifestyle and community programming to in-game content, this role will help shape the future of video for the Rams. The Head of Video will manage all aspects of video production and project management to execute on-brand video content for all digital and social platforms, as well as in-game. They will be responsible for developing and managing timelines and overseeing all video project milestones including concept development, storyboarding, pre and on-set production and post-production. This individual will work closely with the Executive Creative Director and Senior Director of Creative to shape the content vision and develop our yearlong content calendar in alignment with our marketing goals and brand strategy. This individual will help push the creative boundaries for the Rams - they will bring experience from working with industry pioneers to push the way in which we think about our video content and help us to become a top 10 global sports brand. The Head of Video will be a visionary who is grounded in results and understands how to turn big ideas into tangible results for the organization. They will also be technically savvy and have the experience and skillset, not only to set a vision, but be able to manage all aspects of bringing that vision to life, including but not limited to equipment, lighting, production, shooting and editing. They will be an exceptional people leader with a keen ability to motivate, guide and develop teams and will be passionate about the development of their organization.


  • Work with the VP of Rams Studio and Executive Creative Director to develop creative goals in alignment with Rams organizational and marketing goals

  • Lead and define storytelling through video content across the company for online, social media, stadium video board, on demand, advertising – work with executive stakeholders from every department to guide storytelling and content approaches in alignment with the Rams creative vision

  • Create content and video concepts in accordance with our key tentpole moments, brand campaigns and partnership obligations. Be able to prioritize these concepts by highest impact against our goals and drive focus for the creative teams towards what matters most

  • Oversee and directionally guide the video team – guide decision making and concept development ensuring consistency and alignment to Rams creative strategy

  • Own schedule inclusive of production timeline, internal reviews, and reviews with agency partners, including internal stakeholders (media, community, sponsorship, marketing, ticketing)

  • Route edits for approvals, and prioritize, organize, and communicate notes to internal and external editors

  • Supervise in-house and freelance video editors in data management of all footage, including backups and video archives, as well as asset delivery

  • Work with Game Presentation to continue to better the fan experience for the broadcast and the in-stadium presentation

  • Oversee the video production process and work with the Studio Operations team to streamline production processes and content management

  • Maintain a thorough working knowledge of all requisite software applications relative to video production and motion graphics and have the ability to put this knowledge into practice in the creation of Football video content.

  • Develop and relationships with senior level stakeholders internally and externally, work together to understand their need and deliver against shared goals

  • Partner with external agency partners as needed to align content to the Rams vision, and keep projects on track to overall strategy and in alignment with the Rams Brand

  • Manage negotiations and partnerships with outside vendors including directors, DP’s, editors

  • Lead a high performing and diverse team by setting clear expectations, providing appropriate coaching feedback, and development of staff

  • Direct activities for professional development of organizational team members, conducting creative workshops for staff members, implementing corrective strategies and finding ways to grow and develop the content teams


  • Experience leading a creative team with 8+ year experience as a Creative Director or Video Director in an agency or at in-house environments

  • Experience with lifestyle or cultural-impact brands preferred

  • Deep craft experience in your creative field with highly developed ability to develop strategic thinking and creative concepts that result in compelling campaigns and creative work

  • Ability to creative direct all work, whether through external agencies, freelance vendors, or internal production resources, ensuring best-in-class work is delivered on time and within budget

  • Experienced and well-versed in all facets of video production process

  • Video editing and motion-graphics skills with a keen eye for taste level and unique executions.

  • Design experience (Adobe Creative Suite)

  • Proficient in Final Cut Pro and After Effects, as well as Photoshop and InDesign

  • Strong experience with project management software and tools

  • Proven ability building and leading teams in a self-directed way

  • Experience developing ideas and assets across all platforms and channels

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to create and deliver presentations that articulate ideas in a compelling manner to build acceptance and support from executive stakeholders

  • A relationship builder with proven ability to effectively collaborate, influence and make decisions in a partner driven, matrixed environment

  • Empathetic leader with experience driving positive cultural change in growth situations

  • Must be flexible to travel with assigned teams as required and work non-traditional hours

  • Previous experience working in sports preferred

  • Strong knowledge and understanding of football

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Must be available to work nights, weekends and holidays
