Role Responsibilities:


  • Administer staff benefit programs, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, retirement, COBRA, and other benefit plans.

  • Lead new hire benefit enrollment process including benefits orientation presentation, employee benefit enrollment, and support on follow up questions

  • Administer annual benefits Open Enrollment and employee life event changes via HRIS system

  • Identify and troubleshoot errors on weekly benefit file feeds to benefit vendors

  • Oversee and assist with benefits for employees on CBA

  • Assist with annual ACA reporting

  • Manage State and NFL Mandatory Trainings

  • Collaborate on Health & Wellness programs

  • Oversee employee perks, discounts, programs, and memberships

  • Schedule and manage mobile benefit clinics

  • Manage Tuition Assistance Agreements

  • Provide quality customer service to employees by answering benefit inquiries and resolving issues


  • Assist in processing weekly and semi-monthly payroll by reviewing and reconciling payroll output to ensure accuracy of payroll

  • Prepare all deduction and payment inputs for weekly and semi-monthly payroll processing

  • Assist with off-cycle manual check processing, when required

  • Support employees in the use of timekeeping

  • Audit timecard approvals and support managers with approval reminders

  • Generate payroll and tax reports for use by Finance team

  • Produce monthly HR and Finance reports


  • 0-2 years experience in benefits and payroll

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel

  • Experience with Ultimate Software preferred

  • Effective planning and priority setting. Ability to manage several projects simultaneously while working to meet deadlines

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Salary Range: $21.63/hr. - $24.04/hr.
