The Los Angeles Dodgers Performance Science team uses science and engineering principles to better understand on-field performance through biomechanical data analysis and visualization.
Position Skills and Qualifications:
A degree in STEM (mechanical engineering, biomechanics, physics, etc.)
Some computer programming experience (Python, command line tools)
Familiarity with SQL/database querying
Ability to travel to Arizona for Spring Training
Must be detailed-oriented with the ability to handle multiple assignments and projects under pressure
Must be able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
Current senior with a graduation date of winter 2022 OR within one year post graduation
Must be available to live and work in Los Angeles or your assigned office location throughout the duration of your 5-month program (March 20-August 11).
A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.
Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States.
Passionate about working for a professional sports team.
