The Manager, Promotions & Procurement reports to and assists the VP, Digital & Advertising Strategy in all areas of coordinating & procurement for stadium wide giveaways, special event ticket packs, and other needs within the procurement space.
Source, design, order, and fulfill all promotional giveaway items including theme/ticket pack night premiums.
Create vendor bid list for cost analysis, working closely with Procurement department leadership.
Manage giveaway expenses including the production and distribution of monthly reports to department leadership.
Proactively monitor order quantities and production timelines to ensure the ability to efficiently adjust order quantities throughout the sales cycle.
Execute purchase agreement contracts, working closely with Marketing & Legal teams to dictate and review business deal points.
Manage and coordinate the process of giveaways, from sourcing to graphic design commission to giveaway logistics.
Liaise with internal stakeholders within Marketing, Ticketing, Business Strategy & Analytics, and Sponsorship to execute season-long schedule of giveaways and special event initiatives.
Secure third-party approvals and internal creative approvals as needed.
Negotiate best possible rates with third party vendors, and oversee production and delivery process to ensure on-time delivery of all giveaway items.
Ideate around additional giveaway and special event opportunities to grow the Dodgers’ business and appeal to new fanbases.
Requirements and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Operations Management, or related field preferred.
Minimum three year’s work experience in sports in the area of promotions and procurement.
Proven skills in cost analysis, negotiation, and large-scale production management.
Deeply organized with experience managing a large budget.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to function in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
Must have demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize and be extremely detail-oriented with high ability to multi-task.
