We are currently recruiting for our 2023 Business Operations Internship! Interns can choose to work in the Communications, Corporate Partnerships, or Marketing department. Over the 10-week summer program, interns will work in their departments and participate in various program elements, ranging from opportunities to connect with our Senior Leadership Team, sessions to develop practical business skills, and offsite events to expand their network to the larger LA sports industry. We are focused on creating a well-rounded and unique experience of what it’s like to work for a professional basketball team.

This is an internship program for rising undergraduate juniors and seniors that runs from June 5, 2023 to August 11, 2023. The program will be conducted in a hybrid schedule based in our DTLA office.

The LA Clippers are committed to providing a safe and healthy workplace. New members of our team must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 (as defined by the CDC) and will need to provide verification of vaccination for COVID-19.

Who We Are


The Communication Department is responsible for crafting communications strategies to share the LA Clippers story with local and national media, for both Business Operations and Basketball Operations.

Corporate Partnerships

The Corporate Partnerships Department helps brands bring their objectives to life through Clippers' partnerships. They pitch new sponsorship deals and execute brand experiences and activations with our partners.


Our Marketing team establishes our brand identity, seeks to build relationships with our target audience, and create events and other experiences in order to increase overall exposure for the LA Clippers. At the LA Clippers our brand strategy, creative, and game presentation groups are all part of the Marketing division.

What You Will Do

  • Assist in executing department-specific and organization-wide projects.

  • Attend and engage in lunch and learn discussions with the Leadership Team and senior staff.

  • Learn about different sectors of the sports industry through offsite visits.

  • Participate in professional development sessions focused on practical business applications (i.e. LinkedIn and resume review, interviewing skills, networking, etc.)

  • Connect with LA Clippers team members via mentorship pairings.

Your Background, Skills and Experience

  • Rising junior or rising senior at a college or university.

  • Ability to excel in teams and individually as required by business need.

  • Demonstrated dedication with the ability to handle projects from origin through execution.

  • Willingness to learn and should be able to flourish in a fast-growing, dynamic environment.

  • Effective communication skills, both oral and written.

  • Self-starter and entrepreneurial spirit with hands-on approach towards business.

  • Authorized to work in the United States.


10-Week Program: Monday, June 5, 2023 through Friday, August 11, 2023.

Interns are expected to work full time (40 hours per week) for the duration of the program in a hybrid schedule.


Interns will receive $18.00/hr with eligibility for overtime pay. Interns may receive academic credit through their school if needed.
