Ahead of the 2022/2023 season, the Club have multiple opportunities to join our matchday grounds team, which supports our award-winning Sports Turf department in the delivery of the highest quality playing surface at King Power Stadium during matchdays.
Who We’re Looking For
To be an ideal candidate for this role you should have a positive and flexible attitude to working in all conditions and have a keen attention to detail when working under pressure. The main duties and responsibilities are centred around ground and turf maintenance, meaning any experience in similar or related roles is essential.
The primary focus for our Casual Grounds Team will be assisting in match repairs throughout a matchday, including after player warm-ups, at half-time and post-match.
Responsibilities will include divoting, mowing, deploying lighting rigs, seeding the pitch and sweeping the track. You’ll also support with the removal of goals, including portable goals and ball stop safety for pre-match training on the day. Working approximately six hours on a matchday, work assignments will be offered dependant on fixtures for all home games of the season.
