Job Summary: This position is responsible for ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable experience for guests with disabilities, along with providing assistance to all guests visiting Kauffman Stadium. This includes hiring, training, and supervising 20+ active Guest Ambassadors who are crucial to making the stadium as guest-friendly as possible.

Position Accountabilities/Responsibilities:

  • Hire, train, and supervise 20+ Guest Ambassadors

  • Assist in all department personnel paperwork including hiring, disciplinary, and payroll

  • Schedule employees and approve payroll using ADP

  • Ensure guests with disabilities and physical limitations are provided golf cart assistance in the parking lot and wheelchair assistance inside the stadium before, during, and after games

  • Monitor standing room only sections, wheelchair rows, and designated smoking areas to make sure guests are within permitted areas

  • Monitor concourse activities for opportunities to assist guests and report unruly behavior and incidents

  • Proactively communicate long lines at entry gates, ticket offices, concession stands, and restrooms to ensure quick service for guests

  • Assist with green team initiatives when needed

  • Other duties as assigned

Position Qualifications, Skills, and Experience Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in Guest Services, Hospitality, or Facility Operations

  • Two years of supervisory experience preferred

  • Experience working with individuals with developmental and physical disabilities preferred

  • 5+ years Guest Service experience preferred

  • Experience with ADP Payroll System preferred

  • Available to work all home games, including holidays, weekends, and evenings

  • Able to work in high-pressure environment

  • Professional demeanor and excellent verbal and written communication skills required

  • Must be team-oriented, extremely outgoing, and motivated

  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift items weighing as much as 25 pounds

  • Must be able to be productive in a work environment where the noise level can be high at times

  • Specific vision abilities include close vision and ability to adjust focus

  • Must be comfortable walking to navigate the facility to access the office, concourse, etc.

  • Must be able to work extended hours and/or weekends as required by deadlines and event scheduling
