This position will focus on supporting current Fan Development program objectives geared towards youth & families. These objectives may include but not limited to exploring program opportunities within the international markets, creating meaningful community connections to help impact those in need, support of health and wellness programming, applying for grants and resources from NFL Foundation, support the growth and expansion of Chiefs Flag Football, & assisting with large scale on-site events and operations. This role will be asked to support Chiefs Kingdom Crew and Chiefs Kingdom Classroom initiatives throughout the year and assist with coordinating events, appearances, and content coverage. This position will also work in concert with the larger marketing team for youth/school inclusion for large tent-pole initiatives. In addition to youth marketing, this position will help with programs and activations aimed at developing fans across various fan segments (international, Hispanic, etc.). This role often includes interacting internally with multiple departments and assisting in detailed work to bring events and campaigns to life.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Act as a representative of the Chiefs when communicating with fans

  • Act as a liaison and representative for the Chiefs with community groups

  • Assist in the planning and execution of events

  • Lead communication efforts to youth centric marketing networks

  • Correspond with educators, youth coaches, and other youth network leaders

  • Assist marketing and programs tied to various fan segments

  • Assist with research as it relates to domestic market growth/expansion

  • Work in unison with organization’s communications, partnership, and digital media team

  • Assisted efforts in kicking off the regular season, including Red Friday and the kickoff the NFL season

  • Perform other duties as assigned

HOURS REQUIRED:

  • 40 hours per week and events/game days. Starting 6/5/23 and working through the end of February 2024.

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:

  • Qualified candidates must possess superior organizational skills and be able to function in a fast-paced, multi-task setting.

  • Individuals must possess excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Must have a working knowledge of the following Microsoft Office programs: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
