The Indianapolis Colts are seeking a Consumer Sales Manager who will be responsible for recruiting, hiring, training, and developing the next wave of successful sales people. The Consumer Sales Manager will collaborate with leadership to develop a sales and training strategy to ensure Consumer Sales Associates are ready to grow and earn a potential position on a senior level sales team. The manager of will report to the Director of Ticket Sales and Service, and will be responsible for generating both season and group ticket revenue.

RESPONSIBILITIES Revenue Generation:

  • Direct revenue responsibility around the selling of season tickets

  • Responsible for delivering on revenue target and ensuring Consumer Sales Associates get to designated personal goals

Strategy:

  • Responsible for recruiting, hiring and professional development of Consumer Sales team

  • Lead regular staff meetings and facilitate discussion and sharing of ideas related to growing sales revenue and professional development of the team

  • Work with other managers to develop strategic call campaigns, new sales packages, and opportunities for new sales

Process:

  • Monitor, manage and evaluate staff performance on an ongoing basis; establish and communicate clear sales revenue and training goals and follow up with appropriate feedback and direction for development

  • Assist with Ticket Sales events, programs and initiatives

  • Provide weekly training to sales team

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in ticket sales with collegiate and/or professional sports team

  • Superior communication skills, collaborative with strong leadership and inter-personal skills

  • Results oriented leader with proven ability to motivate people and maximize revenue production

  • Proven track record in ticket sales

  • Willingness and ability to work long hours, including holidays and weekends as required
