Basic Function: Develop and execute opportunities to create memorable Houston Texans (“Club”) fan experiences through gameday and other marketing initiatives.
Job Function (Duties & Responsibilities):
Work with the Director of Game Presentation & Live Entertainment Producer and Game Presentation Coordinator to support and develop overall Game Presentation plans, concepts and theme specific elements for all Houston Texans home games.
Help with booking, scheduling and creating a positive experience for gameday entertainment, including but not limited to flag holder groups, in-game promotions, on-field presentations and other Game Presentation needs.
Assist with the submission process and scouting for National Anthem performers.
Responsible for logistics for gameday entertainment, including but not limited to accreditation, tickets, and parking.
Create timelines for the In-Stadium DJ, In-Stadium Host, Deep Steel Thunder and Gridiron Gang.
Create gameday materials including but not limited to game sheets, confirmation letters, shot lists, locker room signs and cue cards.
Run point on pre-game stadium walk-throughs and gameday walk-throughs.
Maintain all field props and equipment needs for gameday and manage inventory and storage.
Work in partnership with internal departments to find creative and entertaining ways to execute a cohesive and memorable gameday experience while fulfilling contractual obligations.
Continuously research, develop and execute innovative experiences and entertainment elements ensuring the Texans deliver on what fans are seeking in their gameday experience.
Assist Deep Steel Thunder and Gridiron Gang with rehearsals, inventory and maintenance of equipment, uniforms and giveaways and other rehearsal and gameday logistics.
Assist with the social media calendar and creative concepts for Deep Steel Thunder’s social media platforms and assist with Gridiron Gang’s digital presence.
Assist with all entertainment team auditions including Houston Texans Cheerleader Tryouts, Deep Steel Thunder Auditions, Gridiron Gang Auditions/Recruitment and Flag Crew Auditions/Recruitment.
Assist the Cheerleading Program including but not limited to poster inventory and coordinating delivering posters to Cheerleaders for appearances throughout the year, tracking inventory of Cheerleader uniforms and Cheerleader locker room setup for each home game.
Assist with event coordination of the Cheerleader Programs, including but not limited to Houston Texans Cheerleaders All- Stars and Jr. Cheerleaders.
Assist the Mascot Program including but not limited to Spring school assembly programs, select appearances, capturing and ideation of TORO social content, assist in booking TORO’s MemoraBULL Moments, and helping build, maintain and pull props and supplies.
Assist with production and stage management at Texans signature events such as Training Camp, Draft Party, Day 3 Draft, Kickoff Luncheon, etc.
Monitor the Entertainment inbox and respond to fan inquiries.
Participate in the Intern Class Benchmark Project.
Provide Game Presentation support for Lone Star Sports and Entertainment (“LSSE”) events.
Perform various other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the Game Presentation Coordinator or Director of Game Presentation & Live Entertainment Producer.
Position requires routine face-to-face personal interaction with other Club personnel; therefore, job responsibilities must be physically performed in the Club offices and not in a telecommuting manner.
Proficiency in use of Microsoft Office software applications.
Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a high-energy environment.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to create and maintain solid working relationships at all levels across the organization and externally.
Excellent attention to detail and an ability to produce high-quality, accurate work within designated deadlines.
Ability to maintain confidential and/or proprietary information.

Supervisory Duties: Occasional supervisory responsibilities as needed.
Travel Requirements: Local and occasional regional travel for events.
Bachelor’s degree from a four-year accredited college or university preferred.
High School Diploma required.
Prior experience in professional or collegiate football or other sport operations preferred.
