Summary/Objective
The Sugar Land Space Cowboys Creative & Marketing Associate is intended for individuals with a strong desire to gain real-world work experience, as well as a desire to work hard and give their best. Learning potential is endless in these positions and associates get as much out of the experience as what they put into it. This associate position is primarily intended as an educational experience. The primary role of this position is photography and graphic design.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities

Photography & Design
Assist Marketing team with photography duties, including gameday action and lifestyle shoots.
Serve as lead associate to the Graphic Design Coordinator.
Create and edit projects for social media, website, videoboard and any other graphic design projects as assigned.
Organize, tag and archive team photo storage.
Digital Media
Produce creative Instagram posts during Sugar Land Space Cowboys games.
Assist in creating unique posts for social media.
Collaborate on the creation of engaging TikToks.
Media Relations
Set up media materials, including stat packs, lineups, and game notes throughout select areas of Constellation Field.
Assist with research regarding baseball information that will be included in game notes and game recaps.
General Marketing
Assist with planning and executing theme nights at the ballpark.
Assist with grass roots marketing efforts.
Assist with gathering pertinent data to help marketing efforts excel
Other duties as assigned.
Education and/or Experience & Skills
High School Diploma or equivalent.
In pursuit or recent completion of a bachelor’s degree in related fields is preferred.
High level of professionalism with ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment.
High attention to detail and deadline orientation.
Highly motivated with strong work ethic.
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite.
Experience in photography and basic editing skills.
Experience in Word and Excel.
Knowledge of the game of baseball.
Familiarity with the Astros organization.
Ability to prioritize tasks and handle numerous assignments simultaneously.
Ability to work independently and as a team member.
Capable of following job guidelines and supervisors' instructions.
Strong experience with posting to Twitter, Facebook and Instagram channels, preferred

Work Environment
This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
Ability to lift 20 lbs.
Ability to work outdoors.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a part-time position, and hours of work on non-game days are typically 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Due to the nature of this position, the position requires hours of work and days that include frequent nights, weekends and holidays. Weekend hours and holidays will be required for grass roots marketing initiatives and game days.

No travel is expected for this position.
