JOB SUMMARY:
Assist Titletown team execute large events and daily programming in the park throughout the year. This is an in-person, paid internship and entails full-time weekdays, gamedays, holidays and special events. The approximate timeframe for this full-time internship is from June 2023 to May 2024.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist with creation, planning, coordination and execution of Titletown’s year-round events including, but not limited to, Night Market, Leagues, Summer Fun Days Showcase, Titletown Gameday Live, Winter Jubilee Warm Up, TTNYE, Titletown Crawl and Go Green.
Research potential vendors, coordinate payments and maintain contact list for all event vendors.
Grow and manage all Leagues including, but not limited to, Kickball, Basketball and Cornhole setup/breakdown, games, scores and F&B coordination.
Create event timelines and logistic maps and work with internal departments to ensure events are executed as planned.
Contribute to the growth of Titletown events by researching current event trends.
Respond to all event inquiries via Titletown inbox.
Daily computer and telephone work, including data entry, PowerPoint documents, Excel spreadsheets, responding to telephone messages/inquiries, etc.
Assist with day-to-day administrative needs and tasks, as necessary.
Participate in rotation for building on-call. Able to respond to emergency calls after hours.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Prior work experience in events, outside of classroom work, preferred.
Excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail and very organized.
Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability and willingness to work non-traditional hours, within a team environment.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Ability to walk, stand, and sit for extended periods of time throughout the day.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Ability to reach, stoop, and lift on a frequent basis.
Ability to focus on projects for periods of time.
Operates in a professional office environment.
Role routinely uses standard office equipment.
