JOB SUMMARY:

The E-commerce Web Development Specialist oversees the Packers Pro Shop website daily operations and long-term enhancements. They will work closely with internal and external teams to develop enriched, interactive user experiences across all digital platforms. This position is responsible for the planning and execution of digital initiatives that enhance customer engagement and drive revenue.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop, manage, and maintain the Packers retail websites, including but not limited to the Packers Pro Shop, International Packers Pro Shop, and in-suite game day website.

  • Schedule and publish creative content while maintaining brand standards with themes and layouts in content management system (Magento).

  • Manage, build, and launch promotions based on marketing calendar. Analyze results and report success and opportunities.

  • Oversee all site updates, including adding tickets in tracking system, managing approval process, regression/user acceptance testing and communication with vendor partners.

  • Collaborate with all facets of business including brand, marketing, design, and IT to gather and refine specifications based on user experience needs. Create development timelines and budgets.

  • Research, A/B test, track and understand new web, API, and e-commerce technologies. Add new features and update existing functionality based on statical analysis.

  • Ensure websites are accessible across all platforms and optimize web content with SEO best practices.

  • Provide direction to e-commerce web development intern.

  • Monitor site stability and daily operations.

  • Ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, game days and special events.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field required.

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of related experience required.

  • Expert knowledge in HTML, CSS, PHP, and JavaScript.

  • Advanced experience with content management systems, website design principles, digital workflow tools, Google/Adobe analytics, SEO, and other social/digital platforms.

  • Knowledge in Adobe Creative Suite: Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign.

  • Expertise in web best practices including content strategies, A/B testing, customer segmentation, and analytics/performance management.

  • Able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and workload effectively.

  • Strong technical, analytical problem solving, communication and time management skills.

  • Ability to lead others, work well on a team and create positive working relationships with outside partners.

  • Creative thinker with critical analysis, problem-solving skills, and a keen attention to detail.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time.

  • Ability to remain in a stationary position for periods of time.

  • Ability to focus on projects for periods of time.

  • Ability to reach, stoop and lift on a frequent basis.

  • Occasionally lift and carry up to 25 pounds.

  • Operates in a professional office environment.

  • Role routinely uses standard office equipment.

LOCATION: This position may work out of our Green Bay or Milwaukee office. Travel to Green Bay will be required for this position.

SUPERVISES: This position does not have supervisory responsibility.
