Fulham Football Club Foundation is a leading community charity, building better lives through sport.

We are seeking a motivated and inspiring Youth Engagement Officer to join the Foundation team to support and develop our offer to young people on our Youth and Community Programmes. The programmes include Premier League Kicks, our refugee-based activities, youth voice, 1-1 and group mentoring and additional opportunities for young people.

The Officer will be responsible for the 1-1 and group mentoring work we do with some of the hardest to reach young people from a variety of backgrounds. You will be pro-actively working on the front-line at our activities, whilst also developing new opportunities that will make a difference to the lives of our participants. The officer will also take the lead on a number of programme specific admin tasks making sure deadlines and quality standards are met.

We are looking for candidates with experience of coordinating programmes, preferably within a youth work or social care setting. Through this experience you’ll be able to evidence the positive impact your work has had on young people. You will also have a proven track record of ensuring the highest safeguarding and quality assurance standards are achieved.

The role will be challenging, highly varied and extremely rewarding, providing the opportunity to work with and inspire young people in our local communities.

Candidates will preferably hold a FA Level 1 Coaching Certificate or have experience coaching sports or football to young people, plus a mentoring qualification/degree, Youth Work qualification or experience mentoring young people. Candidates should be able to travel.

This is a permanent, full time (40 hour) post.
