Main Duties and Responsibilities
Further the strategy for operations across F1 digital properties
Manage day to day activities of Operations Managers and Analysts
Provide technical insight on incidents and changes impacting digital properties
Ensure services are delivered to the highest levels of quality and availability, working with partners to reach root cause and develop improvement plans
Act as a point of escalation for digital throughout a subset of race weekends
Work with peers in, Technology and Product teams to prioritise service improvement changes
To complete all mandatory training within specified timelines.
To operate safely at all times in line with Company health and safety requirements
To undertake other duties within your capabilities as your Group Manager may assign to you from time to time.
Educated to degree level or relevant industry expertise
Professional qualifications or certificates relating to service management
You have managed a team
Comfortable when working in incident scenarios
You have worked with large audience consumer facing products
You have a methodical approach to problem solving
Demonstrable technical problem solving skills
Working knowledge of cloud platforms
Strong stakeholder management skills
Excellent communicator (spoken and written)
Positive ‘can do’ attitude
Proactive worker, able to define and manage own workload

Formula One Management Ltd are currently seeking a Digital Operations Lead to join our Digital Operation department in our Biggin Hill office.
F1 has entered a new era under the ownership of Liberty Media with Digital becoming a key focus. Digital Product, Content, Operations & Technology teams sit alongside F1's Broadcast and Production teams in Biggin Hill. Over the coming years we will continue to further develop our portfolio of digital products and increase levels of innovation in the digital space.
F1 relies on outsource partners to deliver its digital products, retaining a small technology and operations team to manage product development and support.
In order to maintain high levels of service availability and quality across our digital platforms, F1 is seeking a new permanent member to join our team. Your role will be to lead the Digital Operations team, responsible for BAU operations and change as well as race weekend activities, providing team leadership, technical and business awareness, and acting as a point of escalation.
You will have strong technical experience, will have worked in an outsourced model delivering consumer facing digital services, and demonstrate effective decision making.
