FC Cincinnati is a Major League Soccer team playing at TQL Stadium in Cincinnati, Ohio. The club’s wide and diverse ownership group is led by controlling owner Carl H. Lindner III; as well as managing owners Meg Whitman and Dr. Griff Harsh; Scott Farmer; and George Joseph. Originally founded in 2015 by Lindner III and current Co-CEO Jeff Berding, FCC began play in the United Soccer League (USL) in 2016. The club won the 2018 USL Regular-Season Championship in record-setting fashion and earned postseason berths in all three of its USL seasons. In 2017, FC Cincinnati advanced to the semifinals of the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup, a run that included victories over two MLS squads. FCC entered MLS as the 24th team in 2019. FC Cincinnati opened the Club’s privately funded, 26,000-seat soccer-specific TQL Stadium in the West End neighborhood of Cincinnati in 2021.

Position Summary:

FC Cincinnati is searching for an experienced, reliable, and task-oriented Office Administrative Associate for its Downtown Cincinnati front office. The position will be responsible for performing a variety of administrative duties that support the successful operations of FC Cincinnati’s office building to ensure that employees and visitors have a great experience while in our office. This role requires confidentiality and the ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively, with sound judgment and a sense of urgency. The ideal candidate is self-motivated professional who is capable of managing his or her work load and prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced environment. This is a part-time position with approximately 20 hours per week scheduled.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and support all administrative duties in the office and ensure that the office operates efficiently and effectively for anyone who enters the building

  • Manage inventory and stock levels of office supplies and place orders as necessary while also being cognizant of financial budgets

  • Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and deliveries; manage outgoing mail and packages

  • Ensure all office policies are executed properly and consistently throughout the office building

  • Maintain the organization and cleanliness of common areas in the office

  • Liaison to in-house facility management for general maintenance, cleaning, and security services required at the office

  • Collaborate with the staff to coordinate club events, projects, and special assignments

  • Support in-house or off-site staff initiatives such as employee lunches, social gatherings, celebrations etc. including coordination of such events across FC Cincinnati’s three campuses

  • Assist with office layout planning and storage management

  • Identify and implement process improvements for office management as necessary

  • Provide other administrative support as necessary, including scheduling group meetings and coordinating booking requests for common areas

  • Oversee front desk receptionist area and greet guests when security associate needs coverage

  • Routinely manage and protect sensitive information

Skill Requirements:

  • Excellent organization skills, follow through and judgment

  • Positive “make it happen” attitude

  • Ability to handle sensitive matters with tact and diplomacy

  • Proven ability to multitask in a fast-paced working environment and prioritize tasks while remaining meticulous with details

  • Strong computer and research skills, flexibility, and excellent interpersonal abilities

  • Ability to work well with all levels of internal management and staff, outside clients, and vendors and provide each with an unparalleled level of service

  • Strong Microsoft Office Skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED required

  • 3+ years of experience as an Office Assistant or Office Manager

  • Ability to anticipate needs and prioritize tasks while remaining organized and following through

  • Knowledge of administrative responsibilities, systems, and procedures

  • Must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 and provide verification of vaccination prior to start date

  • Ability to work outside of regular business hours including but not limited to weekends and holidays as required by the FCC game schedule, special events, and projects
