About FC Cincinnati:

FC Cincinnati is a professional soccer team that plays in Major League Soccer, having entered the League as its 24th team in 2019. The club’s wide and diverse ownership group is led by controlling owner Carl H. Lindner III; as well as managing owners Meg Whitman and Dr. Griff Harsh; Scott Farmer; and George Joseph. Originally founded in 2015 by Lindner III and current president Jeff Berding, FCC began play in the United Soccer League (USL) in 2016. The club won the 2018 USL Regular-Season Championship in record-setting fashion and earned postseason berths in all three of its USL seasons. In 2017, FC Cincinnati also advanced to the semifinals of the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup, a run that included victories over two MLS squads. FC Cincinnati opened the Club’s privately funded, 26,000-seat soccer-specific TQL Stadium in the West End neighborhood of Cincinnati in 2021.

Position Summary:

The Digital Marketing Manager will help to develop and execute the club’s digital advertising and e-mail marketing campaigns. This role will also be responsible for maintaining, updating information, and developing pages on the FC Cincinnati and TQL Stadium websites, as well as the FC Cincinnati app.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with internal teams and external agency partners to develop, manage, and execute digital advertising and e-mail marketing campaigns

  • Work with Business Intelligence team to track and share reporting on campaign performance, and provide recommendations based on campaign objectives

  • Collaborate with app development team to regularly update and improve app UX

  • Coordinate with MLS digital services team to ensure compliance with league-mandated web functions

  • Develop and manage digital marketing calendar

  • Other duties as assigned

Skill Requirements:

  • Strong organizational skills, including the ability to work simultaneously across multiple projects

  • Proficient in Salesforce Marketing Cloud or similar e-mail marketing software

  • Proficient in HTML, CSS, or Javascript is beneficial

  • Experience working with Facebook Ads Manager, Google Analytics

  • Experience designing web content in content management systems (Forge, Wordpress, SquareSpace, Shopify)

Qualifications & Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business or related field

  • 2+ years of digital advertising preferably in the creative, advertising, or marketing industries

  • Must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 and provide verification of vaccination prior to start date

  • Ability to work outside of regular business hours including but not limited to weekends and holidays as required by the FCC game schedule, special events, and projects
