Organization Overview:

The Florida Panthers are a community focused organization lead by an authentic management team that served our country and now serves the South Florida community. The organization is on the rise and is experiencing success both on and off the ice. Led by General Manager Bill Zito, the Panthers are off to their best start in franchise history. Off the ice, the business team is seeing growth across all key metrics including ratings, social engagement, and a busy 2022 concert schedule. Meanwhile the organization is expanding outside of FLA Live Arena, and are currently renovating the FTL War Memorial in Downtown Fort Lauderdale to build a new practice facility and concert venue.

Job Summary:

Under the direction of the VP of Marketing, the Sr. Manager, Digital Marketing will support all digital marketing efforts within the Florida Panthers, FLA Live Arena, and the FTL War Memorial. The role will be responsible for the club’s digital visibility and marketing content across website, mobile app, and email marketing channels. This role will work closely across various business units on digital projects including, but not limited to: email strategies and execution, promotional planning, copywriting, digital asset trafficking, trend research, lead generation, as well as various analytic and reporting efforts. In addition, this role will focus on brand strategy and gaining valuable experience in the field of event and sports marketing across various digital platforms and activations.

Job Functions:

Specific duties include but are not limited to:

  • Develop, manage and execute digital marketing programs, promotions and campaigns for digital channels to include: online advertising, website management, mobile apps, email and other initiatives as approved by senior management.

  • Define, develop, and execute strategic campaigns to ensure optimization of all digital programs; with a focus on driving ticket sales, fan engagement, and brand awareness.

  • Coordinate and build digital marketing campaigns including various email newsletters, automated lead-nurturing campaigns, corporate partnership campaigns, and season member account communications.

  • Analyze digital data sets and share insights across multiple stakeholder groups to improve digital campaign sales and other KPI’s

  • Oversee the day-to-day management and administration of the club’s mobile apps

  • Build campaign landing pages and forms for driving fan database growth while overseeing database hygiene.

  • Work closely with the CRM manager to ensure campaigns are targeting the correct audiences in conjunction with the sales staff

  • Traffic promotional sales messages on the company’s websites, mobile apps, and other internal assets.

  • Assist with the team’s analytical efforts, including pointing out trends and utilizing test methods to help deliver best results (ie. A/B testing, frequency, time of day, etc.)

  • Create, maintain, and update the email calendar to ensure proper planning and execution.

  • Use tools such as StellarAlgo’s Customer Data Platform, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Adobe Analytics to implement tags, goals, and audiences

  • Utilize quality assurance methods to ensure email and digital campaigns are optimized for the best performance on all platforms and devices.

  • Participate in game-night fan engagement elements alongside other marketing team members.

  • Support any digital marketing initiatives activated for Florida Panthers and sponsor promotions.

  • Support all trafficking needs by sending out digital ads to vendors, agencies, and marketing partners.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Should be extremely organized, detail oriented, and results-driven with a focus on quality and consistency

  • Proficient with Salesforce Marketing Cloud or similar email marketing automation software

  • Strong analytic skills and knowledge of Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics

  • Excellent writing, verbal communication, and professional inter-personal skills

  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic a must. Must have a “team-first” mentality with an eagerness to learn

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced professional environment, work under fluid deadlines and complete tasks in a timely and efficient manner

  • Strong understanding of marketing strategy, digital trends, and various forms of outreach

  • Comfortable working with Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite

  • Undergrad degree in Marketing, Advertising, Media Communications or other relevant major

  • Experience working in sports a plus, but not required

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is an exempt position. Must be able to work flexible hours.
