As the organiser of some of the biggest and most iconic sport events in the world we lead the way in the sport and event industry.We are now looking for a Senior Manager Hospitality Operations that supports us on our mission as a freelancer.The Senior Manager Hospitality Operations is responsible for the development, monitoring and implementation of FIFA's Hospitality programs as well as the management and delivery of Hospitality rights to FIFA's Partners and Hospitality rights holders. The role will also be contributing to FIFA's future Hospitality strategy and will bring innovation to the program.As a freelancer the position can work remotely with the expectation to work CET hours.These are your key tasks:

  • Accountable for the successful delivery of truly global and complex hospitality programs throughout the FIFA Event calendar.

  • Responsible for the coordination of Hospitality RFP processes and procedures, ensuring timely appointment of service providers

  • End to end Hospitality management across Commercial Affiliates, consumer and B2B programs

  • Create and manage hospitality budgets

  • Manage cross-divisional communication and service level agreements for the implementation of hospitality requirements and services

  • Define, manage and coordinate Hospitality's stadium requirements, ensuring FIFA Hospitality requirements are met across the venues of the FIFA tournaments

  • Create and implement operational plans and manage the operational delivery of FIFA's Hospitality programmes

  • Use expertise to evaluate, implement improvements and enhance the overall high-level customer and hospitality experience

  • Define Service Level Agreements for Hospitality and monitor the delivery of such services by service providing functions

  • Coordinate requirements from Hospitality service providers including caterers, decoration services and logistics

  • Provide efficient support to appointed agencies and manage external service providers.

  • Guarantee Hospitality Servicing to FIFA Partners and Hospitality Rights Holders

  • Manage Hospitality ticketing inventory and Fulfilment processes

The specific competencies we require for this position are:

  • Bachelor or master's degree or equivalent in Event Management, Marketing, Sports Management or Business Administration; Project Management certification is an asset

  • At least 8 years of experience in the (mega) Sports and/or large-scale events industry in a similar role

  • Profound knowledge and experience of the sports hospitality industry and strong understanding of the sports marketing and sponsorship business

  • Experience in coordinating RFP processes for multi-million projects across multiple work fronts

  • Experience in developing event hospitality concepts and budgets

  • Experience with event ticketing

  • Experience in the management of complex projects with multiple stakeholders

  • International business profile is a must

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills

  • Outstanding business acumen and attention to detail

  • Able to work independently, take initiative and handle responsibilities

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills

  • Negotiation and conflict management skills

  • Proven experience in managing a team and agencies

  • Experience of championing and driving change

  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills

  • Used to working in an international environment and managing frequent business trips worldwide (up to 50% of the time)

  • Strong understanding of architect drawings/blue prints

  • Fluency in English is essential, additional FIFA languages an advantage

  • Highly proficient with all Microsoft Office tools
