Senior Campaign Manager

We are dedicated to the beautiful game and its development in every corner of the world and in all of its aspects.

We are now looking for a Senior Campaign Manager that is part of FIFA and supports us on our mission.

These are your key tasks:

  • Owning and overseeing the portfolio of FIFA campaigns, acting as the direct point of contact between internal departments, while leading and managing the relationship with external agencies;
  • For official FIFA events and tournaments (e.g. draws, The Best FIFA Football Awards), providing input and feedback in relation to pre-recorded video messaging & VTs, aiding in development of scripts (which should be in line with FIFA messaging for these specific topics), overseeing briefing of talent including presenters and Legends;
  • For official FIFA events and tournaments (e.g. Fan Fests), providing all content related to FIFA campaigns that has physical and/or digital exposure;
  • For official FIFA events and tournaments, the definition and implementation of all FIFA campaign-related inventory shall be managed (e.g. backdrops, TV spots with MRLs, LED boards, infotainment, programme advertisements and any other promotional events);
  • Implementing editorial requirements (text, data/statistics, photo, graphics, audio and video) for delivery of campaigns across FIFA's owned and operated digital platforms according to deadline and budget, working with editorial colleagues;
  • Managing of international days for messaging and integration into either existing or new campaigns;
  • Executing campaign requirements (with an emphasis on digital communication methods) to promote individual stakeholder activities in line with the President's Vision, 2020-23, and agreeing a campaign plan, calendar and budget with each stakeholder account manager that governs the effective delivery of such content across various channels;
  • Supporting the management of an external content and campaign team (newsroom – text, data, documentation (PDFs), photography and multimedia services) to ensure the necessary editorial resources are available (on-site and off-site) to deliver content/campaigns in an effective and efficient manner according to the agreed content/campaigns plan;
  • Implementing the editorial positioning for FIFA's corporate and competition campaign activities in line with management guidelines across owned and operated channels;
  • Supporting the production and delivery of video material (as per running orders) and the delivery of relevant streamed video content for FIFA corporate and competition activities according to agreed procedures (e.g. delivering video news releases (VNRs) and respecting relevant media rights agreements;

The specific competencies we require for this position are:

  • Bachelor's in communications/journalism/digital media
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills and management of messaging and media – as well as working under tight deadlines
  • Perfect understanding of global football activities
  • Excellent command of communications platforms and media relations
  • Expertise in video production as well as standard messaging and content creation
  • Advanced MS Office
  • Proven experience (5+ years) working in an international sports' and/or media organisation – with a specific background in football and/or journalism
  • Digital communications expertise and the ability to build and maintain an audience and maintain interest
  • Excellent English skills, including writing (for print, digital and broadcast), communication, and presentation
  • An outstanding team spirit with an entrepreneurial mindset that thrives when being challenged
  • Ability to foster long-term relationships with key professionals and manage resources accordingly
  • Solid experience coordinating successful communications campaigns
  • Understand, and be conscious of, the political and commercial nature of a global governing body's activities in addition to organising tournaments and events
