Manager On-Screen GraphicsAs the organiser of some of the biggest and most iconic sport events in the world we lead the way in the sport and event industry.The Manager On-Screen Graphics will oversee the design and implementation of on-screen graphics across both television and venue infotainment screens. She/he will also be entrusted to manage the delivery of host broadcaster productions and services at FIFA tournaments and/or corporate events.

The tasks attributed to this position include but are not limited to:

  • Lead all processes involved in the developing and implementation phases of on-screen graphics, such as: definition of inventory, on-brand design, file deliveries, data sourcing, technical integration, allocation of resources, off- and on-site operations and logistics, budget management, quality control

  • Actively engage with all internal and external parties involved in the production, validation, delivery and integration of data into the on-screen graphics workflows

  • Oversee the design and delivery of on-screen graphics packages, live data feeds and information platforms to FIFA's Media Rights Licensees

  • Produce any relevant documentation related to product requirements and guidelines

  • Procure, contract and manage external suppliers

  • Coordinate timing systems integration where applicable (e.g. Beach Soccer and Futsal)

  • Support technology developments and benchmark other sports properties with a view to constantly enhance and innovate deliverables

  • Potential on-site event-time role will include overseeing the delivery of all broadcast production aspects and being main point of contact to other FIFA departments and local entities as well as external suppliers in relation to broadcast operations

  • Management of certain further projects: planning and successful delivery within the set parameters

The specific competencies we require for this position are:

  • Master degree or similar higher education in broadcast, information technology or equivalent

  • On-the-job education and/or qualifications linked to sports broadcasting

  • 3+ years' experience in delivering on-screen graphics and associated data services within the broadcast operations at market leading international sports events, particularly with an emphasis on football

  • Solid understanding of the technical, editorial and operational aspects of sports broadcasting

  • Knowledge of industry players and international broadcasters

  • Proven track-record in managing complex projects

  • High sense of responsibility

  • Strong personal organisation skills within a multicultural teamwork environment

  • Proven capacity to maintain lucidity in stressful and/or conflicting situations

  • Pro-active, creative and innovative spirit within given business framework

  • Enjoys setting and achieving challenging organizational goals

  • High and constant attention to detail and at the same time ability to maintain awareness of the "big picture"

  • Proficient in Word / PowerPoint / Excel

  • Proven expertise with various broadcast graphics systems and production formats

  • Awareness of football data capturing technics and processing workflows

  • Good understanding of information and computer network technologies

  • Impeccable written and oral communication skills, in both technical and non-technical English language; proficiency in any other FIFA language (F / ES / GER) is an asset

  • Availability to travel for long periods and readiness to dedicate extensive work time

  • Interest in and good knowledge of football as a sport

  • Humble and eager to continue learning/developing
