The Sales Assistant will be responsible for working under the direction of the Lakeland Sales Team to assist in the prospecting, selling, activating, and servicing of group ticket accounts, hospitality packages, including picnics, birthday parties, suites, etc. as well as corporate sponsorships, all while providing outstanding service to our guests and clients.


  • Responsible for assisting in the renewal of existing ticket and corporate partners.

  • Conduct daily cold calls to prospective clients.

  • Support Lakeland Sales Team with ticket and sponsor fulfillment and activation.

  • Responsible for updating and maintaining customer database.

  • Work to generate new leads and creative ways to sell ticket packages and sponsorships.

  • Coordinate with sales team and ticket office with any ticket and/or hospitality needs.

  • Provide excellent customer service to all existing and potential clientele

  • Handle incoming calls from sales prospects and existing clients.

  • Actively research and prospect new sales leadWill have game-day responsibilities including but not limited to tarp duties, airport transportation and team/mascot appearances.


  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent combination of education & experience also considered.

  • Sales and/or customer services experience a strong plus.

  • Excellent interpersonal, phone and organizational skills.

  • Ability to self-motivate.

  • Excellent verbal communication skills.

  • Strong writing skills.

  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Word & Excel; plus, database management skills.

  • Bilingual in Spanish a plus.
