As the Partnership Engagement Manager, you'll be responsible for the execution of Detroit Pistons partnership agreements. In this role, you'll work closely to manage day-to-day engagement and activation activities aimed to ensure all agreements are being fulfilled and providing best-in-class client service to our partners.

What you’ll be doing :

  • Work with the Director, Partnership Engagement & Retention on the execution and management of high-level partnership accounts.

  • Co-developing and implementing partnership activation plans that most effectively leverage our assets and capabilities, builds our partners’ business and delivers on objectives.

  • Evaluating effectiveness of partnership marketing plans regularly and adjusting as needed.

  • Developing strategic alliances between partners that capture synergistic effectiveness across multiple platforms and mediums.

  • Entertaining and hosting high-level corporate executives.

  • Daily interaction with the Creative & Communications department ensuring implementation of partner contract elements are in place and driven.

  • Executing partner events, including but not limited to, Community Relation events, Retail location events, VIP Receptions

What we’re looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or related field.

  • Minimum 3 years of sports marketing/sponsorship support experience preferred.

  • Ability to work nights and weekends.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Self-starter with ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple projects.

  • Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office, with a strong emphasis in PowerPoint and Excel.

  • Sense of urgency paired with excellent customer service skills and judgment.

  • Excellent organizational & interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to maintain confidential information.

Work Environment

Works primarily in an office environment but is expected to attend games and other events on evenings, weekends and holidays.
