Job Purpose: Manage a team of Account Executives and Business Development Managers while maintaining a focus on revenue generation through the sale of season ticket memberships and group tickets. This position will receive supervision from the VP, Ticket Sales & Service with the expectation to train, manage and monitor the professional growth and sales success of the Sales Executives.

Primary Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Train and coach sales executives to attain their highest potential

  • Manage team to meet or exceed annual sales goals

  • Monitor Sales Executives daily, weekly, and monthly activities

  • Attend appointments weekly with Sales Executives

  • Manage the work schedules of ticket sales interns

  • Conduct weekly one on one appointments with Sales Executives to review sales activity

  • Work all Dallas Wings and Panther City Lacrosse Club Home Games

  • Collaborate with VP, Ticket Sales to maintain and develop industry best practices

  • Manage all sales tables events with marketing manager

  • Assist VP, Ticket Sales & Service with developing leads within given campaigns

  • Assist VP, Ticket Sales & Service with hiring any open positions while maintaining pipeline of prospective candidates

Job Requirements:

  • What We Need from Our Director:

    • Experience in developing and training the ticket sales process

    • Experience in managing multiple pipelines at once

    • Experience managing sales professionals that are new to the ticket sales process

    • Ability to manage and lead with positivity

    • Proven track record of high level ticket sales success

    • Experience with lead generation

  • Formal Education & Relevant Work Experience:

    • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, and/or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred

    • 3 to 5 years of ticket sales experience

    • 1 to 2 years of management experience; inside sales management experience preferred

    • Strong sales acumen and proven ability to prospect and sell

    • Proven sales leader and manager

    • A strong understanding of best practices within tickets

    • Experience selling women’s professional sports preferred

  • Work Location & Hours: Work is performed in the office and/or at one of the arenas as determined necessary by the Company. Must be available to attend all home games for both Dallas Wings and Panther City Lacrosse Club, as well as attend company events. Games & events may take place on nights, weekends, and/or holidays.

  • Identify areas of opportunity and propose potential solutions while continuing to lead projects without interruption.

  • Ability to forecast issues in projects, troubleshoot, and problem solve with internal constituents and external partners

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer

  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time

  • Hearing, seeing, reading, writing, concentration, comprehension, and talking with clear speech

  • Planning, organizing, interpreting data, making decisions, problem-solving, and composure under deadlines/stress
