The Director of Creative Services is responsible for leading and guiding the creative services team. They will report to the Chief Operating Officer and work closely with content producers, game entertainment and social and digital media personnel, as well as revenue-generating departments. This position is based in the Arlington/Fort Worth area.

She/He/They will work to service to the Dallas Wings & Panther City Lacrosse Club partnership clients & ensure we are delivering best-in-class creative to promote both teams.

Reports to: Chief Operating Officer

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES

  • Oversee, lead and guide creative services department, which is comprised of graphic design, video production, project management and photography

  • Serve as the lead graphic designer for both teams

  • Work closely with members of creative services and revenue-generating departments to establish our creative vision, defining how the brands translate to content and messaging across all marketing and communications mediums, like digital media, in-game entertainment, advertisements, etc.

  • Assist in creation of content and concepts in alignment with key tentpole pillars, partner activations and community outreach

  • Along with social & digital media team and game presentation personnel, lead and/or assist in execution of internal and external photo and video shoots

  • Continually provide input on improvement of operational creative processes and workflows

  • Work with the VP of Communications & Broadcasting to ensure content aligns with in game and social efforts, maximizing exposure for the organization, its players, and partners

  • Take active role in all brand and content ideation to continue enhancing brand identity and positioning

  • Provide best practices across all creative verticals, bringing new ideas/concepts from various leagues and entertainment entitles

  • Assist social & digital media personnel on game and event days as needed

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Formal Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required

  • Relevant Work Experience:

    • Minimum of 2 years of experience producing and managing various forms of content production and execution, preferably in professional sport

    • Photoshop, InDesign, and other Adobe applications
