The core responsibility of the Sponsorship Media Asset Project Manager is to implement and track sponsorship media elements and assets on behalf of our corporate partners.

The Media Asset Manager role is to ensures that assigned sponsorship media assets flow efficiently from our corporate partners to our internal and external production departments and media partners. The manager must work closely with the Sponsorship staff to assist with asset availability, production and proof of performance along with managing projects deadlines. Assisting in logistics and keeping all parties updated on the progress of assets.

Essential Elements & Duties: (additional duties may be assigned)

  • Traffic all assigned media and generate necessary media affidavits and reports, maintain marketing schedules and reports for our corporate sponsorships

  • Facilitate artwork for Dallas Mavericks print publications, courtside and other in-arena digital signage, radio and TV live reads as it relates to corporate sponsorships

  • Work with Corporate AEs/Activation Managers and the Mavericks Marketing/Digital department to develop marketing and social media plans and campaigns

  • Develop and maintain sponsorship asset inventory reports

Required Qualifications:

To perform this position successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential element satisfactorily. The employee must also have the following qualifications:


  • College Degree (advertising/marketing ideal) with practical experience in sports

  • 3-5 years in media planning/trafficking

  • Knowledge of print and broadcast production processes

  • Computer skills are a must, Wide Orbit, MS Office, and database (KORE/SalesForce) experience

  • Graphic design experiences – Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator

  • Attention to detail is critical
