The Dallas Cowboys Football Club is seeking a motivated individual to join our Applications team as a Business Systems Engineer. The Business Systems Engineer is responsible for identifying and implementing solutions based on business needs along with day-to-day technical support for the Applications team.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILIITES
Identifying and analyzing business needs, conducting requirements gathering, and defining scope and objectives
Making recommendations for solutions or improvements to business processes that can be accomplished through new technology or alternative uses of existing technology
Researching business requirements and documenting the relationships between the components of the application system (i.e., end users, business processes, data, applications, and devices)
Responds to and diagnoses problems through discussion with users, which includes troubleshooting, fault rectification, and problem management and escalation.
Provides effective and timely resolution of users’ problems, queries or complaints.
Assists in software evaluation and recommends upgrades or improvements.
Work with business stakeholders to utilize applications to their fullest potential
Assist users with business process changes and improvement initiatives
Stay informed of new features and enhancements of applications as well as integrated platforms
Provide end user training to internal IT staff and/or business units
Maintain a high-level of communication to accurately manage expectations, timelines and ensure satisfaction
Prepare documentation related to IT systems and processes
3-5 years of experience in IT
Manage multiple priorities at once across multiple customer areas
Skilled in observation, analysis, and interpretation of technical information
Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
Detail oriented and organized
Available to work standard office hours
Available to work flexible hours including weekends, holidays, extended hours as needed
