To provide a robust and diligent security operation for Selhurst Park Stadium. To create and preserve an environment where employees, visitors and property are safe and protected and kept safe at all times.
You will be responsible for…
Key allocation to key individuals and being the main key holder for the Academy site.
Patrolling around the ground ensuring the area is secure and safe in all areas
Assisting with recruiting, training and supervising Security Officers and Stewards at the Academy
Attend meetings as the Security representative.
Overseeing security operations for matches, training sessions and any events/ functions on site ensuring there is adequate provision on site.
Ensure daily logs and incident reports are kept and reported appropriately.
Coordinating employees and other security team members when responding to emergencies and alarms.
Providing security updates to the Head of Security and the Operations Director.
Managing the Security and Stewarding team on a daily basis, including daily hand over with night Security.
Other duties and responsibilities as required by line manager
Upholding and promoting the Club’s policies and procedures, including Health and Safety, Safeguarding and Equal Opportunities policies and procedures
Experience & Qualifications:
Proven experience as a senior operator in a security role
Experience using relevant technology and equipment (CCTV, intruder alarms and fire alarms)
Hold a valid SIA badge
Excellent knowledge of security protocols and procedures
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Professional and presentable
Committed and reliable
A natural leader
Flexible and able to work a varied schedule when necessary
