Crystal Palace FC Women’s Team is seeking a General Manager. This role will follow, lead and develop the women’s team strategy. The successful candidate will be involved with all aspects of the club and will be responsible for running the day-to-day tasks such as the budget; communicating and building relationships with partners; commercial development; planning and attending match days.
Responsibilities:
Act as Crystal Palace Women’s Team's primary contact for the FA for all league business such as finance, broadcast, commercial, and facilities.
To ensure the Club is on track with the given budget and maximise earnings from matchday's revenue.
Monitor and manage the financial regulations for the league competitions.
Ensure that the club meets all licensing requirements.
In charge of submitting the annual Compliance and Development Report.
In charge of the production and implementation of the FA Club Development Plan for Crystal Palace FC Women's team.
Responsible to provide a strategy and guidance to the Women’s Team operations.
Working with the club’s senior management team to ensure the clubs sustainability through building good relationships with key funding partners.
To build and maintain a good relationship with different key stakeholders such as key England International staff, business partners, The FA, Crystal Palace FC, and Palace for Life Foundation.
Accompany the team and represent the club in home and away games.
Supporting the coaching, players, and senior managers at all stages with player recruitment, contracting, registrations, and salary-related points throughout the season.
Responsible for fixture planning and managing to deliver the club's plans such as match days, and commercial and events.
Line manager to all staff at Crystal Palace Women's Team, including casuals and volunteers.
Work closely with the Safeguarding Officer to ensure that the club meets the FA Safeguarding standards and best practices.
Attend three or more CPD events by the FA per season.
Participate in The FA leadership development program
Upholding and promoting the Club’s policies and procedures, including Health and Safety, Safeguarding, and Equal Opportunities policies and procedures.
Maintaining a working environment where diversity is valued, everyone can contribute, and everyday actions ensure we meet our duty to uphold and promote equality. Plan, support and manage the delivery of learning initiatives that contribute to advancing EDI.

Skills and Qualifications:
Degree or equivalent
Excellent communication skills
Experience working with a semi-professional/professional sports organisation/club.
Business and Commercial awareness.
Strong IT skills
Previous day-to-day budget managing experience
Enthusiastic, hard-working, and capable of working with strict deadlines.
Must be able to travel and attend all home and away games.
Existing relationships within the women’s football in England (desirable)
Passion to develop the women’s game
