The Colorado Rockies Organization is currently seeking a part-time Minor League Technology Assistant to work within the Baseball Operations department and alongside the minor league coaching staff. This individual will coordinate all day-to-day video and technology operations video operations for daily use at the minor league level. This position requires a propensity for independent reliability and a commitment to excellence while working within a team environment.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for the coordination of day-to-day video and technology operations associated with assigned Minor League team, coaching staff, players, and the Player Development department.

  • Capture, tag, and upload video for assigned Minor League Affiliate using BATS software and Trackman for all games the duration of the season.

  • Collect video and data from bullpens, batting practice and defensive work .

  • Assist in the use of Baseball Technology (Edgertronic, Blast Motion, Gameplan, TruMedia, etc.) and disseminate information, as necessary.

  • Assist coaching staff with various video and data related projects and requests .

  • Create in-house videos as needed for purposes of demonstration, teaching, and development.

  • Help run pitching lab tech, audio/visual components, and computers for presentations in meetings throughout the season (specific only to ACL video assistant).

  • Perform other duties as assigned by front office.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience working in professional sports preferred.

  • Experience working with baseball video, technology, and data preferred.

  • Passion for the game of baseball.

  • Extremely motivated, with a strong work ethic and problem-solving skills, with the desire to learn and grow.

  • Detail-oriented, strong organizational skills, and multi-tasking abilities.

  • Ability to develop and maintain successful working relationships with members of the Club’s on-field staff and players.

  • Strong interpersonal skills, including oral and written communication.

  • Consistent, punctual, and regular attendance, while presenting a professional image and demeanor.

  • Based in Albuquerque, Hartford, Spokane, Fresno, or Scottsdale.

SALARY RANGE:

  • $14 per hour.

  • This is a temporary status, part-time position not eligible for all company benefits.
