PRIMARY PURPOSE
Operate, maintain, and repair assigned electrical and building systems in such a manner as to insure optimal stadium operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Responds in a professional, polite and helpful manner when dealing with employees, visitors and guests of the Cleveland Browns
Completes assigned preventive maintenance and reactive maintenance repairs, either alone or with assistance, requiring, but not limited to the following skills:
Mechanical Systems
Electrical Systems
General Building Systems
Develops and maintains a high level of proficiency in Electrical work and is generally well versed in all the above trades.
Initiate’s operation, maintenance and repair procedures for all equipment including scheduling, start-ups, and winterization and routine checks.
Maintains a working knowledge of all main electrical systems, isolation shutoffs and able to respond to any emergency with the ability to minimize disruption to the building.
Respond to any emergency according to guidelines and training set forth in the Stadium’s Emergency Safety Plan including assistance in fire and evacuation situations
Participate in all training exercises as directed by a supervisor and actively follow all policies and procedures as set forth in the training exercises
Thoroughly and accurately completes reactive and preventive maintenance paperwork
Performs call-catching duties as assigned by supervisor
Works according to the schedule prepared by a supervisor
Recommends changes in procedures and improvements, which are beneficial to the operation of the organization
Returns work areas to a clean, neat, orderly and safe condition
Monitors and controls inventories of fixed and consumable assets of the Cleveland Browns and procures materials as needed
Maintains efficient and economical operations of stadium equipment by monitoring operations and makes recommendations for changes when necessary
Assists the Manager with the development of annual budgets
Monitors work by outside contractors and relays any safety violations or other inconsistencies to a supervisor
Learns, understands and complies with fire, safety, and other emergency practices. Reports all potential mechanical, electrical or other unsafe conditions to the Manager immediately
Learns, understands and complies with all Company practices
Assists in the training of other employees as assigned by supervisor
Performs any required duties assigned by supervisor
ESSENTIAL JOB KNOWLEDGE
Ability to work independently, prioritize, and make quick and decisive decisions with confidence
Clear understanding of all department and company policies and procedures
Clear understanding of individual staff responsibilities within the department
Basic computer skills specifically including Microsoft Office Suite and industry standard software
Basic understanding of standard office equipment including AV equipment, smartphones, and photocopiers
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Must have a minimum 5 years’ experience in commercial maintenance
Clearly, effectively, and professionally interact with staff, supervisors, fellow departments, contractors and the public
Obtain and maintain a valid Ohio Driver License
Ability to read, write and speak English
Ability to walk, stand, and climb stairs and ramps during entire shift (8 – 12 hours)
Ability to lift, carry, and transport large boxes and items in excess of 25 lbs
Availability to work long and irregular hours including nights, weekends, holidays, NFL games and special events including but not limited to soccer, football, concerts and banquets
