The Chicago Sky is hiring a Community Tickets Coordinator responsible for seeking new nonprofit organizations and maintaining memberships with past organizations. As the Community Tickets Coordinator, you expected to manage the Community Tickets program for each home game and increase the retention rate. Community Tickets Coordinator is required to follow up with their leads in a timely manner, service all incoming requests for community tickets, and provide additional support to the Ticket and Marketing departments when necessary.

The position will run through the 2023 season. Hours will be set to 24- 30 hours a week during the hours of 10 am- 4 pm at the Sky front office located in Chicago, IL. Hours may also include game days, events, and holidays. This position pays $16.00 on an hourly basis plus bonuses. Although there are no guarantees for full-time employment once the season ends, their maybe opportunities for permanent employment.

Responsibilities

  • Execute Sky Cares Community Ticket Initiatives and Bus Program for the 2023 Sky Season

  • Create and implement strategies to prospect, develop, and grow relationships with 501c3 nonprofit organizations and community groups

  • Assist in planning and execution of various grassroot marketing efforts with ticket sales, sponsorship, and community representatives in order to drive brand awareness

  • Manage community tickets given out for game days and track group attendance

  • Train and manage Sky Cares Tickets interns

  • General office duties

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in sports marketing & management, sport administration or related business majors preferred

  • Interest in building a career in sales and/or community relations

  • Comfortable meeting, speaking,

  • Excellent verbal and written skills

  • Very organized and detail oriented

  • Team player with a positive attitude, self-confidence, professionalism, resourcefulness, integrity, motivation, and a very strong work ethic

  • Sales experience, although not required, is very helpful

  • Ability to work flexible hours including, but not limited to, evenings, weekends, and holidays
