What We’re Looking For:

  • We’re looking for a Production Manager to manage and deliver all non-matchday production projects for Chelsea Football Club. Duties include:

  • Production Management and delivery of content projects including but not limited to training sessions, (open & live), player features, activations, partner projects, club events and Chelsea internal clients.

  • Creating, managing and reporting project based and annual budgets.

  • Raising POs, managing invoices, and approving timesheets.

  • Completing budget reconciliations and reporting on financial status as required.

  • Delivering all administrative requirements for productions e.g. call sheets, risk assessments, COVID-19 declaration forms, contracts, release forms etc.

  • Using project management software to allocate and track internal staff ensuring optimum use of resources - anticipating and removing any conflicts or bottlenecks.

  • Sourcing and on-boarding production agencies and freelance crew as required.

  • Leading kick off and project meetings, communicating and offering solutions for concerns, clashes, or other obstacles in a proactive fashion.

  • Managing post-production workflow and ensuring edit requirements are fully resourced across all projects, providing status updates and timelines where applicable.

  • Working closely with the relevant Leads and producers on new creatives to ensure they are operationally and financially sound.

  • Gate keeper for all project info and statuses - having a holistic view of all production projects, anticipating department peak periods and forward planning accordingly.

  • Conduit for communication between relevant CFC departments.

  • Working with stakeholders across the business to collate and share relevant information to enable projects to run efficiently, ensuring timely delivery of briefs and confirmation of deliverables for accurate monitoring from briefing stage to delivery.

  • Supporting the Production, Operations and Technology Lead with monthly reporting on volume of projects and briefs coming through the team.

  • Being aware of commercial KPIs and business strategies - working with stakeholders to ensure projects deliver these objectives and meet KPIs.

Must Haves/qualified by demonstrable experience to the level required:

  • Production management experience working across short and long form content.

  • Budgeting and forecasting knowledge/experience.

  • Experience maintaining and reporting accurate cost tracks.

  • End to end experience of taking projects from brief to delivery.

  • Strong working knowledge of creative and production functions so accurate timelines and forecasts can be set for jobs.

  • Experience leading projects through each stage of production according to client, creative brief, budget, resource and deadline deliverables.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (excel, word, powerpoint)

  • Proven track record of building close collaborative working relationships, with the ability liaise with all departments in a professional manner.

Nice to Haves:

  • Experience in branded content and sports production.

  • Experience and understanding of technical equipment used for live and non-live shoots.

  • Experience with project management methodologies and software.

  • Experience using Monday.com and Streamtime.
