About the Team:
Formed in 2010, the Chelsea Foundation is one of the world’s leading football social responsibility programmes. Using the power of sport to empower, educate and encourage, we believe sport can be harnessed to support communities and individuals, both at home and abroad.
The Foundation brings together the Community, Education and International departments, along with the club’s wider charitable, CSR and community activities, and equality programmes.
On top of our outstanding football development projects, the Chelsea Foundation works on a broad range of initiatives focusing on employment, education, social deprivation, crime reduction, youth offending and much more.
What We’re Looking For:
A candidate to lead on core activity/Berkshire and Buckinghamshire Schools to further develop and grow the business, whilst delivery high quality sports provisions. Supporting the Area Lead in effectively planning and execution of the programmes running within Berkshire and Buckinghamshire – including but not limited to all In-School and Out of School activity, after school clubs and various activities delivered during the school holidays. This is to be achieved through the running of inclusive, high quality coaching activities throughout these activities ensuring participants are fully engagement and motivated.
Must Haves/qualified by demonstratable experience to the level required:
A minimum FA Level 1 in Football Coaching.
Valid First Aid and Safeguarding Children certificates.
Experience coaching within a school/grassroot/development setting.
Must have experience running and managing a programme of work or people.
Nice to Haves:
A full, clean drivers’ licence.
FA Level 2 in Football Coaching or higher.
