Calgary Sports & Entertainment Corporation are seeking an Analyst, Ticketing and Sales who will work within the Data Insights and Ticket Operations team to provide insights in support of strategic initiatives and decision making. The Analyst will drive a strategic and analytical approach with our Ticketing, Sales, Retention, and Suites team and work collaboratively with business leaders in each area to improve insights, leads, outcomes, and reporting. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate analytical skills, business, sales, and marketing acumen, with the ability to visualize findings in a clear and concise manner and make recommendations to drive the business forward.


  • Utilize data across multiple platforms to build visualizations that demonstrate overall performance and critical benchmarking metrics;

  • Serve as liaison between Business Insights and Ticketing, Sales, Retention, and Suites departments for data requests and problem solving;

  • Collaborate with departments for analytical consulting and benchmarking tracking;

  • Gain business insights and share with departments to drive revenue;

  • Conduct analysis to support key strategic making on pricing, scaling, promotions, and marketing campaigns;

  • Identify areas for improvement, including automating reports or data processes to increase efficiency;

  • Develop predictive data models (e.g., renewal probability, fan clustering) to support audience activation, identify business risks, and drive business outcomes;

  • Assist in the programming and execution of fan surveying efforts;

  • Conduct research to understand customer expectations and areas of opportunity;

  • Aid in administration of Microsoft Dynamics CRM system by maintaining data integrity within the system, identifying insights and uncovering solutions to enhance the sales process;

  • Other duties as assigned.


  • Degree in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or Commerce with related fields and focus on research & analytics;

  • At least 1-2 years’ experience in an Analyst or similar role in the sports/entertainment industry is preferred;

  • Excellent analytical skills – must be able to independently work with large amounts of data, extract relevant information for analysis, and summarize in data visualizations;

  • Familiarity working with Archtics/Ticketing related data is an asset;

  • Familiarity working with KORE Software is an asset;

  • Proven understanding of SQL, CRM, and visualization tools;

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, and other Office products;

  • Self-starter with a desire to solve problems;

  • Close attention to detail;

  • Must be able to work flexible hours, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
