Retail Associate

Position Summary

The selling of merchandise at the arena store for Sabres games and certain non-hockey events.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide a high level of customer service.
• Handle merchandise sales
• Product knowledge and stock replenishment.
• Perform periodic inventories.
• Process transactions using the POS system and reconcile cash transactions.
• Maintain store cleanliness.
• Maintain open communication with supervisor at all times.
• Maintain a professional attitude and appearance at all times.
• Perform other related duties and tasks as assigned or as become evident.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Customer service/retail sales experience is preferred.
• Point of Sale Terminal (POS) system/cash handling experience preferred.
• Must stand and sell merchandise to customers during shift.
• Some lifting of boxes is necessary, up to fifty (50) pounds.
• Be able to work a schedule that includes evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Hourly Rate - $15.00

Experience

• Customer service/retail sales experience is preferred.

Education

• High School or better
