Cleaning assigned areas of the facility including Amerks team room and administrative offices. Routine responsibilities include, but are not limited to, sweeping, mopping, scrubbing. Performs routine day-to-day cleaning and assigned cleaning projects in the building to help provide a clean and safe environment for our players, team staff, and employees.
Sweeps, mops, or vacuums floors, corridors, halls, and stairwells
Cleans restrooms, including sinks, toilets, floors, walls, mirrors, etc.
Restocks sanitary supplies such as toilet paper, paper towels, hand soaps and sanitizers
Cleans other assigned areas
Does project cleaning, such as washing windows, and shampooing carpets and runners
Removes trash, debris, refuse and recycling. Takes trash and recycling materials to the proper location and disposes of properly
Attends training to remain informed of safety regulations and cleaning techniques
Maintains a positive and responsive attitude
Maintains open communication with supervisor at all times
Uses standard cleaning tools such as brooms, mops, and wipers. Uses vacuums, auto scrubbers, and carpet cleaning machines
Performs other related duties as required or requested
High School Diploma or equivalent
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
Must possess the ability to be courteous, diplomatic and professional at all times
Must be able to work varied hours and days including nights (3pm - 11pm), overnights (11pm-7am), weekends and holidays.
Must be able to work extended hours due to event needs
Must be able to read and interpret written material
Must be able to work with limited supervision at times
Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds
Must be able to walk or stand for long periods of time
Must be able to work on irregular work surfaces, such as stairs, ramps, ice, dirt, or other surfaces.
Must be able to move equipment, and properly handle tools
Previous Tennant auto scrubber experience preferred
