SUMMARY
The Head of Consumer Marketing is responsible for leading marketing efforts that positively impact revenue growth opportunities across Ticketing, Premium Hospitality & Merchandising for the Brooklyn Nets, Barclays Center and additional BSE Global properties. Working side-by-side with leaders across Ticketing, Business Intelligence and Consumer Technology, this role will supercharge a multi-touch, full-funnel lifecycle marketing program, crafting a roadmap of journeys for customers & prospects, targeting the right audiences, with the proper messaging, at the ideal time, for the most appropriate product. This individual will continuously strive to better understand consumer behavior in the pursuit of deepening fan engagement and providing meaningful, personalized touchpoints that fuel awareness, lead generation, conversion & retention.
This role will serve as a cross-departmental bridge, providing thought leadership that helps align the organization around goals, go-to-market positioning, and success metrics for product-centric marketing campaigns. The position will oversee a year-round consumer marketing calendar, shaping innovative programming and collateral, designed to educate & inform our fans on our value proposition, deepen member relationships and enhance acquisition efforts. This individual will also leverage our customer data to cultivate actionable insights, build targeted media plans and craft audience segmentation strategy.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Lead the development of marketing strategy for all key Ticketing and Premium Hospitality products inclusive of Season Ticket Member Renewals & New Business, Group Sales, Individual Game Tickets, Premium Hospitality, Suite Licenses and Single Event Suites.
Roadmap and execute 360-degree consumer marketing journeys for core campaigns that engage the consumer through compelling content, creative, touchpoints, events and offers.
Collaborate with the Business Intelligence and Consumer Technology teams to maximize the potential of our Customer Data Platform, crafting sophisticated audience targeting, uncovering insights to guide communication approaches, and developing campaign personalization techniques.
Oversee our paid media budgets and media agency relationship, while guiding a comprehensive measurement & reporting approach.
Champion a test-and-learn culture through A/B testing and consistent analysis of performance to ensure our content/offers are going to the proper audiences and iterating tactics to optimize results.
Steward a strategy to accelerate customer acquisition and expand our customer database, setting goals, tactics & benchmarks for growth.
Support the launch of our fan loyalty platform and evolution of our member benefits programming to grow affinity and fuel retention with consumers.
Partner closely with the Brand, Creative and Content teams to craft campaign positioning, creative/content concepts and comprehensive media plans that live across our institutional marketing assets & paid media ecosystem.
Serve as the marketing lead for our ticketing partner relationship, helping to navigate their integration across the BSE Global ecosystem.
Support core Merchandising initiatives to help craft go-to-market strategy and ensure products/releases reach intended audiences.
Lead cross-departmental meetings and workstreams, facilitating consistent communication, information sharing & alignment on strategy.
Inspire with out-of-the box thinking and innovative ideas to reach target audiences and cultivate prospects for commercial opportunities.
Closely follow industry trends/best practices and surface concepts that can lead to new & evolved approaches.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING:
12+ years of Marketing experience, with a focus upon consumer lifecycle and data-driven roles.
Expertise crafting customer acquisition, retention & loyalty programs, campaigns, and strategies.
Foundational knowledge of paid media, with the ability to steward impactful 360-degree media campaign creation, reporting and measurement.
Track record of impacting consumer behavior, designing personalized experiences and segmenting audiences.
Expertise across the Sports and Entertainment landscape a major plus.

SALARY RANGE
$177,000 - $194,000
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Works primarily in an office environment but is expected to attend games and other events on evenings, weekends and holidays
