This is a part-time position in Event Operations which consists of Ushers, Greeters, Ticket Takers, Mobility Assistance and Quality Control. Elevator Operators are a part of the Mobility Assistance Team and are responsible for monitoring one of the five elevators in Fenway Park during baseball games and concerts (and other smaller events where operators are needed). The Elevator Operators greet all fans that come into the elevator and direct fans to their seats accordingly as well as answer any other miscellaneous questions. In addition, some Mobility staff provide assistance to fans who request wheelchair aid to get to and from their seats as well as monitor the Family restrooms located inside Fenway Park.
If you are hired under the Event Operations umbrella, you will be hired for one group and it will not change game to time (i.e. if you are hired as a Greeter, you will be a Greeter and will not be able to switch to Mobility / Usher etc. game by game.)

CHARACTERISITICS / QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be available to work 65+ Red Sox games and 75% of concerts.
Ability to commute to Fenway Park and ability to provide own transportation.
Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Must have smart phone or computer to access e-mail and enter availability for Red Sox games and concerts.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Prior customer service experience is preferred, but not essential.
Must be able to report to the park two hours prior to game time (i.e. 7:10pm game, staff expected to be here for 5:10pm and 1:05pm game, staff expected to be here for 11:05am Roll call, etc.) and staff will work until 30 minutes post-game.
The Red Sox (or FSM) requires proof of being up-to-date on COVID-19 vaccination as a condition of employment, subject to applicable legal requirements. Up-to-date means having received all recommended COVID-19 vaccination doses in the primary series and a booster dose(s) when eligible.
