General Description

The Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Administrator will work within the Information Technology department and manage the day-to-day operations of the Salesforce CRM currently in implementation phase. This role will partner closely with the Ticketing, Sponsorship, Suites, Marketing, Business Intelligence, Legal, and Finance departments to ensure customer data is properly captured, maintained, and used to build/manage customer relationships and evaluate/pursue revenue opportunities. The CRM Administrator will create and manage all data flows and integrations to maximize CRM functionality. The CRM Administrator must be a self-starter with strong interpersonal skills and will be required to work on-site at our Owings Mills office and/or M&T Bank Stadium location at least three days per week.

Primary Job Duties:

  • Participate in currently ongoing implementation of Salesforce Sales Cloud, CPQ, and Service Cloud.

  • Possess a strong understanding of Salesforce products, processes, and best practices and ultimately serve as a subject matter expert for all things Salesforce.

  • Collaborate with multiple departments (approximately 60 end user employees) to develop solutions to meet business needs.

  • Ensure highly-productive end user experience by designing and implementing customized end user interface and building and delivering workshop and training materials.

  • Maintain the Salesforce security model including roles, profiles, sharing rules, and permission sets.

  • Oversee the day-to-day configuration, support, maintenance, and improvement of Salesforce, including the creation of custom objects and fields.

  • Use tools such as Flow to build automations within Salesforce.

  • Evaluate new Salesforce products/features and partner with stakeholders to implement and deploy to production.

Position Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree preferably in economics, statistics, mathematics, marketing, information systems, data analysis, and/or a related field

  • 3+ years of experience in a Salesforce role.

  • Salesforce Administrator certification

  • Possess a deep understanding of Salesforce products, processes, and best practices.

Required Skills:

  • Possess excellent communication skills and a proven track record of working in a collaborative team environment.

  • Must have an action orientated personality with the ability to successfully work in in a small-scale IT team environment.

  • Passion for the sports industry a plus.

  • Ability to occasionally work extended hours, including nights, weekends and holidays, as necessary
